Erin Graney, Therapist In Charlotte, NC - MSW, LCSW

Change is inevitable, growth is optional. As a therapist, Erin’s role is to help clients move toward growth at their own pace and in a way that feels grounded, supportive, and sustainable.

Erin works with adults (18+) who are ready to take meaningful steps toward change. Many of her clients come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves, build healthier boundaries, and feel more in control of their emotions and behaviors. She tends to be a strong fit for individuals who value open communication and are ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process.

Erin’s work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a strong emphasis on the connection between mind and body. She integrates EMDR therapy with mindfulness-based approaches, coping skills development, and somatic techniques to help clients process experiences and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

She also believes deeply in movement as medicine. Whether that involves incorporating elements of therapeutic yoga, breathwork, or helping clients reconnect with their bodies, Erin supports healing in a way that engages the whole person.

In addition to EMDR, Erin has training in auricular therapy and takes an interest in how nutrition can support mental health. Her goal is to help clients build a toolkit that feels practical, personalized, and empowering in everyday life.

Erin has been in direct clinical practice for over 11 years, working in a variety of outpatient settings with diverse populations. She earned her Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, where she also completed a concurrent certificate program in substance abuse treatment.

Her early work focused heavily on substance use recovery, a path that was both personal and meaningful. Over time, she recognized how often unresolved trauma played a central role in addiction, which led her to pursue more specialized training in trauma treatment.

Erin is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both North Carolina and New Mexico.

Having grown up in a military town, Erin also feels a strong connection to supporting veterans and individuals navigating the challenges of trauma and reintegration into civilian life.
