Fees, Billing, & Policies

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.

On January 1, 2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the “No Surprises Act” went into effect and required healthcare providers to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” for out-of-network care. We provide all services from a place of transparency regarding the cost of treatment.

Insurance

We accept private pay clients or out-of-network benefits.

Pay upfront or use Thrizer to simplify reimbursement—you may not need to pay the full session fee!

If you prefer to call your insurance provider to learn what your out-of-network benefits are, we recommend asking the following questions:

  • What are my out-of-network benefits for outpatient behavioral health visits?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet before you will start to reimburse me?

  • How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement of the visits I've paid for to my behavioral health provider?

Cancellation Policy

We understand things come up, and sometimes you need to cancel your appointment. However, we do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.

Payment Methods

All major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards are accepted for payment.

Thrizer Payment and Reimbursement Management

Thrizer is an optional service many clients use to simplify the reimbursement process. If you elect to use them, we will send you an invite to your email. You can choose between two approaches:

Thrizer Pay (Most Convenient)

  • You pay only what you owe at the time of each session (similar to a co-pay or your post-deductible coinsurance). Thrizer pays my full session fee upfront.

  • They handle the insurance reimbursement behind the scenes.

  • Thrizer charges a flat 5% fee based on my session rate, added at checkout.

  • You don’t have to pay the full fee out of pocket or submit superbills.

Pay in Full & Let Thrizer Handle Reimbursement

  • You pay my full session fee at the time of your appointment.

  • Thrizer files claims and sends the insurance reimbursement directly to you.

  • Instead of the 5% fee, you pay a 1% transfer fee only when reimbursement is deposited to your account.
